Hoffman Estates, Illinois incorporated in 1959 and is located just 30 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. The village covers an area of 19.9 square miles and has a population of 52,520 est. The village now serves as the headquarters location for the Sears Holdings Corporation. It is also the home of the the Chicago Storm of the Major Indoor Soccer League, the Chicago Shamrox of the National Lacrosse League and the Chicago Slaughter of the Continental Indoor Football League.
